My favorite photo of my dad was unbeknownst to me until last night when he was going through his stuff. 

Its a self portrait photo of him in his younger artist years painting an abstracted self portrait of himself, amongst his paintings, sculptures and other art works while everything and the smoke from his cigarette frames the light from a single window. The bike wheel was also a sculpture, but its the placement implies a halo and is appropriate as our last name is Santos (Saints).

He is my favorite artist.
